The Simple Life

Can you guess everyone here (except the obvious
)When I look back on photos of my sister and I when we were growing up I
can’t help but to think about how simple life was then. A life
with out cares or worries of this world that weigh on us each day we
grow older. I wonder how many of us would want to go to a place
far far away like Neverland? Where you never grow up! A
place where you are FREE and not bounded to this world we live
in. Maybe Peter wasn’t that off after all! We spend all out
lives and time trying to grow up as fast as we can and when we reach
the point of transition, we’re not ready to take the plunge.
Surely God intends what is best for us but life just seems to get more
complex as time flies by. We become so socially constructed to
this world and to our social groups we’ve been in whether Christian or
not. Have we allowed God to construct us according to His
will? Did God not say that we are in the world but we are NOT OF
it? Maybe that’s why sometimes we feel so out of place sometimes
because we are truly meant for a place greater than here!

dude…i’m gonna have to agree with you–the best time of your life is when you’re a kid–no worries and all you think about is just how to have fun. life is too complicated right now and sometimes it’s depressing when you actually see and comprehend everything that’s happening in the world today. on the bright side though, at least now you have the power to make things change–to make YOUR world a better and more worthwhile place…YOU at least are now in control
i like this sentence alot.
>We spend all out lives and time trying to grow up as fast as we can and when we reach the point of transition, we’re not ready to take the plunge.
