    So one of the unique things I’ve been learning about photography is that some of the images that you think are ideal somehow don’t turn out the way you expected!  It’s the photos I least expect that actually turn out the best sometimes.  I must of taken at least 100 pictures in a hour span and out of the 100 or so I only like 4 or 5 of the photos ( go figure) hahaha!  Well all a part of photography; in fact come to think of it it’s relatively easy to take 100 photos…especially if the lighting is good!  I often find myself taking like 7 or more photos of the same subject!

    So my original subject I was intending on shooting actually turned out pretty negative so I decided not to show them!  So the photos you see are purely random and were not my actual intentions for that evening!  O well

    So I’m moving out of my apartment at the end of the month and I need to get rid of a few things!  I will be selling a dinning table with 5 chairs so if ur local and need some furniture hit me up!  I am also selling a huge desk! If you’re interested, let me know!  Thanks!

  • aw. your first photo makes me miss davis!!

  • very nice steve. ur g-durrrrty-five???? very nice

  • good noise control. Sometimes, art isn’t intended.

  • It’s like a car ad for Infiniti.  Hrrm….car show?  I’m dying to go!

  • WOAH! that’s so beautiful. the moon’s AWESOME! it looks like a star! And all the lights at the bottom too, and that beau of yours on the rooftop! mmmmm, you really know how to set the mood/background/setting with lights! ahahahaha

  • Great pics again Steve, you are really developing and obviously having fun with that camera. If I may be a little nit-picky: the Davis skyline pic is a little slanted. A good point of reference would be the water tower to make sure it is sticking perpendicularily to your horizon. But I love the colors!

    Your g35 shot is a beauty. The lighting and shadows are perfect! They really show the curves and contours of this very smooth vehicle. It also looks very clean and shiny. I would love to take a pic like that with my Camry.. but the issue being that the car is a Camry. You don’t ask for a nun to pose for the Mona Lisa! nicely done, keep them coming! >>howard

  • nice steve.  looks really nice.

  • WOW… superb job on that 350z in those conditions ^_^… oh that night shot with the so called moon looks like a day shot with the sun… lens glare effect

    Oh how i cringe to think how the people who used 35mm … taking soo many shots, wasting soo much money on rools of film…. THANK GOODNESS for DSLRs eh?

  • Fab shots! I like the imperfections in photography.. well, in mine anyhow – The “perfect” ones bore me after looking at them twice – the kwirky ones that are no way near perfect are always my faves! : ) – Kat x

  • night time photography is sweeeet! i like the first one.

    ryc – i was right up against the window on the 26th floor (top floor) at work.

  • i got the 20” imac… mac pro is a monster machine.. but i cant edit on a laptop.. too small of a screen..

    screen shots on a pc::
    print screen button… will take a ss of screen then u have to open photoshop or paint and just paste…

    on a mac::
    apple button + shift + 3… that will automatically save a ss and then create a .png file of it on the desktop.. no need to open a program and paste…
