Color Wheel
Above is one small and simple assignment I had to make for my design class! I have to say so far I am having fun but I’m still thinking about how I am going to write a research paper on toy robots from a design perspective! This should be interesting! What’s different about my color wheel is that it is not colored in with colored pencils, paint or any art tools but instead it is made from magazine cutouts! Just as there are constraints in photography there are also constraints within design that bring out creativity of its own. Cosmopolitan magazines do wonders for mag. cutout color wheels! haha

AHAH. so many ppl are angered by me cause ic hanged it to mag cutouts instead of coloring. its been coloring for years past. i’m teh BEST! hahahahhah. looks good, ng. looks good :]

I really like your photos.
Do you mess with the focus at all on the computer?
Because i noticed that your last two are extremely in focus then half extremely out.
nice picture what lense and camera u shoot with?
Awesome! You’re taking DR’s class. That means I’ll see you in the color car parade celebrating the color wheel, yes?
so simple yet so pretty
NICE! hey, hit me up if you’re free this weekend =)
Nice shot dude! :goodjob:
Cool idea… I love the design. Good luck with the rest of the assignment! I hope it goes well…!!! ~ Dawn
I really liked this entry!! Very creative, I must say. Figure out how to write that ‘toy robot’ paper yet?? Sounds interesting!! Would love to see what you came up with!!
very cool
That’s so awesome… working outside the box is so much more interesting than working inside the box! Not that this is much help… but when the movie Robots came out, I took my kids to the hardware store and we bought all kinds of nuts and bolts and built our own robots using hot glue for metal! It was totally cool…! Good luck! ~ Dawn
Transformers was TOTALLY what was I was thinkin about…weird…you should write about how they used to be, all KIDS: “Oh cool!! I just moved his arm and leg!!” to, ADULTS: ”OMYGOD!! That robot just took over an entire city building!! RUUUN!!!” *scary*
GOOD LUCK!!
Thanks for the comments!! ^_-
I really wanna get into digital scrapbooking but I still need to learn how to work with vectors.. I’ve seen some pretty cool stuff here and there but I havent had the time to pick up on it.. I’m a huge GEEK when it comes to photography and design art. HEHE!
my my cosmo does have the colors of the rainbow. wondering if you’re gonna use magazines for shading too
hey this was with the 50mm, right? heh
my pic was done with scott’s peleng 8mm fisheye. he said it’s about $150. That’s prob going to be my next lens, cuz otherwise, the next cheapest one is a $650 baby! (and then after that, another one that costs about $1k). i’m a broke mofo after all is said and done. haha
colour weel indeed!
thanks, you have some great shots yourself.
