  • Weekend At Lake Tahoe

I think I’ve been busy doing something every weekend this past March and it only keeps getting busier, which is a good thing.  =)  In the past 3-4 months I’ve been to another country, technically 7 states in the US, weddings and assisting my aunts weddings.  I am in charge of invitations, dvd slide shows, programs and PHOTOGRAPHY.  Yes, I did say photography but it’s likely I’ll be working side by side with one of my very close friend. =) Oh this is exciting.  Speaking of exciting, I would probably be even more excited, inspired and driven if I could be at WPPI (Weddings, Portraits Photography International) in Las Vegas.  I hope everyone I know that is there is having a blast and I will be expecting a filed in report about the week event! =)  This past weekend was also my little cousins 5th birthday and I took so many pictures that I haven’t even gotten a chance to look at them, so I’ll be saving that for the next post! =)

Tahoe was so beautiful and boy do I just love driving up those curvy roads.  I think I sat around for hours adding all the time I spend by the lake trying to get geese and ducks to fly across the water or in the air but unfortunately I wasn’t able to grab any =( Geese are extremely elegant and beautiful birds but they sound horrible ahhah!  All photos post processed using Scott Robert Actions.

EDIT: There are no legit companies to work for in Sacramento!

    Until next time…

    Cheers,

    Steve

  • Good job staging everyone on the docks! Good models…were they easy to work with?
LUV the banner at the top of your site:love: Very elegant…wondering if the lettering should be just a bit bigger? I know you young people can see it, but for older clients it would be hard to read (remember that when dealing with anyone over 40!)

  • man tahoe is just as beautiful as i remembered it. must go back sometime

  • very nice photos. you are getting better and better!

  • ryc: You’re welcome

  • RYC…I used my 18-55 kit lens on my xti for that shot

  • cool man, how do you like scott’s action set? im sure you learned a lot from his class! i want to take it someday. hey one thing though, in your 3rd photo, it looks like your masking is off by a bit for the guy in the foreground. but anyways, great job man. that group shot turned out really cool

  • i love the effects you did on th educk pictures there fantastic

  • Yes I don’t own any prime lenses. I can’t afford them just yet. I just spend a lot of time with photoshop. I write all my own actions so that it makes my art unique and so that I don’t see other people with a similar style. The kit lens works fine for what I am doing right now, but soon I will be looking at a few other wide angles.
