I love Thomas’ expression here. He was actually quite happy to be taking pictures. He just wanted a serious look here. He actually really a character this charming young man. =)
Well the picture say it all. =) I love these kids with all my heart =)
My favorite picture of Thomas during this shoot. I love that he’s throwing a leaf into the pond.
This photograph reminds me of my childhood days. Free and happy =)
I chased ducks just like Thomas back in the day haha
Ok back to the kids being silly. Jordan & Adaline join us in the shoot too =)
As you can see, they enjoy making faces of all sort =)
I really like this photograph a lot. I think it will last a life time. =)
Victoria always like to make faces in every shot it seems haha
We all like big and tall trees =) You’ll find lots of these in Davis, CA =)
Hahaha…Thomas is so adorable =)
I like this photo because I haven’t got a clue as to what Adaline is doing to Thomas but its bhahahahahahhahahaha funny =)
Too many I really like here hahaha
I think I could do a ad for Eddie Bauer haha
Last but not least my Auntie and Uncle. Proud parents of Ryan, Victoria and Thomas =)
When I see Thomas’ life for some reason it brings me back to my life as a child. =) Hes my buddy =)Well its Christmas Eve Eve and I am doing all my shopping tomorrow haha. Yes, you heard right, tomorrow on the Eve of Christmas. No I don’t usually wait till the last minute to shop or make gifts for people so late but this year so much has happened that my life sometimes just seems like a blur. I’ve been overwhelmed with many awesome things this year I just haven’t had time to think much about the holidays. It saddens me because Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. I love giving gifts I normally make for my family and friends but this year I have had no such luck. I’m working on a number of things for them and most likely they will all be late gifts. Well, better late than never I suppose. Anyways, here is a quick family shoot I did for my little cousins this holiday season. My aunt wanted some photos of the kids for Christmas cards and such so here is what we ended up with….lots of photos with personality baby. =) Lots of it too. Anyways, I always enjoy being around my cousins. I usually trick them into thinking I am their uncle because I am so much older hahaha. Anyways, I love each of them dearly and I only hope to capture things they can look back on one day and be like wow who took that of me ahah. Children photography is not easy to say the least and I would have to say I would like to improve greatly on children portraiture. A lot of what you see here is life style photography that I enjoy very much but a bit portrait stand offish. Its a bit hard with these kids beccause they dont seem to sit still for more than a few seconds. Typically normal for children but Id figure I could capture them in between the moments because thats more of who they truly are. Free with a spirit to explore their external surroundings. As adults sometimes we becomes so jaded to the world around us because there is so much we are to be held responsible for, worries and cares that when you look through the eyes of a child its usually the most beautiful thing in its purest form. Unjaded, care free and true. There is not wonder Jesus tell us to have a child like faith. Jesus’ just always has the answer. Its so simple yet as adults we just don’t get it. LOL. Well, I hope you all enjoy these kids as much as I did. I can’t wait to hang out with all of them on Christmas day. Its going to be ace =) I’ll be back to wish everyone Merry Christmas. I hope you’ve been all good things year…Santa might not give you want you wanted if you’ve been naughty haha. Anyways, I hope this holiday season is everything you all dreamed of. Blessings upon blessings to you all. What I do here through photography means nothing without you all. Thanks.
Cheers,
Stephen

Have a safe trip!!
You should do more of this I LOVED it. Who wants silly stiff portraiture when you can have real fun shots like these…great job. Yes, it is hard to catch kids and I suppose it is necessary to get them posed and all but I really like this stuff. What a fun and extremely cute family. Have fun with them tomorrow!
Merry Christmas Stephen!!!
God Bless you,
Kerri
